Heidi Howell, Associate, Office Manager
Heidi Howell was born and raised in the heart of Germany. She received her BA in Social Work and Political Science in 1977 from the Gesamt Hochschule Kassel and completed her Master's Degree in Social Work in 1980. After graduation, Heidi visited and fell in love with San Francisco.more.
In 2002, Heidi made her first inroads into San Francisco real estate, as an escrow manager for Rimma Realty. In 2004, Heidi became a vital member of the team at Gomez & Patton Real Estate. Acting as both escrow and office manager, Heidi worked closely with Stephen Gomez and Stephen Patton, two of San Francisco's real estate premiere real estate agents. She quickly became the brokers' assistant. Soon after, she became a licensed realtor for the firm.
Since attaining her real estate license, Heidi has successfully integrated her European ties and diverse education into her professional work. Her personal, diligent, detail-oriented approach to the business has created a long list of highly satisfied clients.close.
Steve Berliner, Director of Marketing
Steve Berliner is in charge of implementing the marketing efforts of GPK Luxury Real Estate, making certain that all of its listings shine as brightly as possible. With six years of experience in both real estate transaction management and marketing, he now develops and implement corporate marketing strategy for identifying new clients and target properties, and then implementing the marketing plans and budgets for high-profile listings. Also a licensed agent, he’s particularly comfortable working with clients new to San Francisco. more.
With a degree in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis, Steve particularly enjoys the detail-oriented precision that is required in a real estate transaction. Originally from New York, Steve has spent the last 20 years in the Bay Area, and now understands why so many people love San Francisco and are willing to invest their future here. He is a huge sports fan, splitting his time between the San Jose Sharks in the winter, and the San Francisco Giants in the summer. He loves wine tasting, going to comedy shows, and not having to shovel snow from his driveway now that he’s a full-fledged Californian.

Richard Hundgen, Leasing Associate
Richard Hundgen was born in Manhattan and spent his summers in Southampton, Long Island. In 1963, he entered Rockford College in Rockford, Illinois to pursue a double major in English Literature and Art History. In 1967, Richard transferred to San Francisco State University where he continued his studies, with emphasis on William Blake and T.S. Eliot, and began a career in the music business.more.
In 1980, Richard joined Gomez & Patton Real Estate as a rental agent for Nob Hill, Russian Hill and Pacific Heights luxury apartments. As a real estate agent, he demonstrates a rare talent for matching the right client to the right property.
Richard has been a member of the Nob Hill Association for over 30 years. In 1987, he received a commendatory letter from mayor Dianne Feinstein for coordinating the lighting of the South Transept window at Grace Cathedral. At 25' x 45', it is the largest stained glass window in the United States. Richard also sponsored the Monks from Taize, France at Grace Cathedral, and the installation of the Dean of Chartres an an honorary dean of Grace Cathedral.close.
